LIT Base and Angel Wings Join Forces to Aid Displaced War Victims in the DRC

War victims left with no shelter, no food, no water and sanitation whilst battling the tragedies of the loss of loved ones.

In a bid to alleviate the suffering of displaced war victims in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), LIT Base, a humanitarian organization known for its grassroots initiatives, has forged a collaboration with Angel Wings, a prominent relief agency. The partnership is providing essential assistance to those affected by the ongoing conflict instigated by the M23 rebel group, backed by elements from neighbouring Rwanda.

The DRC has been plagued by persistent unrest, with various armed factions vying for control and resources.

The recent surge in violence, attributed to the M23 rebel group's incursions, has resulted in a significant displacement of civilians, exacerbating an already dire humanitarian crisis.

Forced To Flee Their Homes

The conflict has led to widespread displacement, with thousands of Congolese forced to flee their homes in search of safety and shelter. Many have been left vulnerable, lacking access to basic necessities such as food, water, and medical care.

A Need For Urgent Intervention

Recognizing the urgent need for intervention, LIT Base and Angel Wings have joined forces to provide much-needed relief to those affected by the conflict. Through coordinated efforts, the two organizations deliver aid directly to affected communities, prioritizing the most vulnerable individuals, including women, children, and the elderly.

"Together, we will work tirelessly to ensure that essential relief reaches those who need it most, offering a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness of war."

The partnership between LIT Base and Angel Wings signifies a broader collective effort to address the root causes of the conflict in the DRC while providing immediate assistance to those affected. By combining their resources, expertise, and networks, the two organizations are making a meaningful impact in the lives of war victims, offering them a lifeline in their time of greatest need.

As the humanitarian crisis in the DRC continues to unfold, collaborations like this serve as a beacon of hope, demonstrating the power of solidarity and compassion in the face of adversity. Through sustained efforts and unwavering dedication, LIT Base and Angel Wings stand united in their mission to bring relief, comfort, and support to the displaced and disenfranchised populations of the DRC.
