Holy Family Home for the Elderly
On Monday, 12th August 2024, LIT BASE GLOBAL hosted an impactful and heart-warming event at the Holy Family Home for the Elderly, Regina Mundi in Oshodi, Lagos State. The gathering brought together volunteers from across Nigeria, all united by a common purpose: to bring joy, care, and support to the elderly residents of the home.
The event kicked off at 9:00 AM, with volunteers arriving at the venue, ready to serve and engage with the elderly in various activities. The day was packed with a range of services and offerings that were both practical and uplifting.
One of the primary focuses of the day was providing healthcare services to the elderly residents. Volunteer healthcare professionals conducted medical check-ups, offered advice, and ensured that the residents’ health concerns were addressed. This initiative was highly appreciated, as it provided much-needed medical attention and reassured the residents about their well-being.
