ERADICATING HUNGER AND ENDING POVERTY

We're committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling to find their next meal.

The Angola Hunger Relief project was founded with a clear goal; to save lives by providing hunger relief to millions of people in Angola experiencing malnutrition and hunger.

UNICEF estimates that by 2025 the Angolan poverty rate is expected to exceed to 19.2 million people.

Since 2020 we have actively assisted children and elderly people with meals and have helped communities and individuals become self-reliant.

As of the start of 2024, we we had provided nearly 100,000 meals in the Angolan communities that we serve.

Other Projects In Angola

Food Rescue & Distribution Programme

The Food rescue programme seeks to improve food security by collecting quality excess food from commercial outlets and delivering directly to the Communitarian Kitchen in Huambo.

Part of our objectives is to create mutually beneficial collaborations, partnerships so we can develop a long-term solution for this community.

The Communitarian Kitchen

Our goal is to enable the Communitarian Kitchen to provide 3 meals per day 7 days a week.

By providing resources so they can become an effective and sustainable operational kitchen for the community.

I am the bread of life

I am the bread of life, is a collaboration with “The Boys Orphanage”, in Huambo which has enabled us to handout 70,160 bread rolls.

Due to the success of the programme we aim to double the amount of bread we provide yearly and to also reach as many beneficiaries as possible. As well as deliver skill-based bread making workshops for the beneficiaries.
